WCAG 1.4.4: Resize text
In European law this criterion is EN 301 549 clause 9.1.4.4 — chapter 9, the part of the harmonised standard that applies to websites under the European Accessibility Act.

On top of axe-core, our own browser check a11y-resize-200 applies 200% zoom in a real browser and flags content that overflows horizontally. Honest limitation: zoom is applied via CSS, an approximation of browser zoom — an honest limitation, not an exact simulation.
What automation cannot prove
An automated test finds some failures of WCAG 1.4.4; it cannot confirm the criterion is met.
